Partly Facetious: a good reason for a few more foreign visits

"President Musharraf is the only man with enough of a stature to initiate interfaith dialogue."

"Or at least that he would not abandon him till the political life time of the President, which could be the same as his natural life. But no it wasn't Mushahid."
"It couldn't be the Chosen One because whatever one may say about him owing his job to the President he doesn't go quite that far."
"Nope, it wasn't him either."
"How about one of the Cousins? Chaudhary Shujaat?"
"Absolutely. He said this after his recent trip to Germany, Italy and France."
"I often wonder what he goes there for? I mean it's not as if he speaks any of these languages. And he's not on a state visit, I believe."
"Maybe, he goes to visit a friend that got a job there or a relative or..."
"Possible. But what is this about interfaith?"
"Well apparently the non-Muslims do not like Muslims these days. And the ones with the beard are hated more than those without."
"That does let off Chaudhary Shujaat off the hook."
"And what's more there is not a single member of his family who sports a beard or a moustache. At least none in the public eye."
"Makes sense. I think he goes there for treatment."
"Then, he isn't satisfied with the medical facilities of one of the countries he visits and hence goes hopping around."
"Maybe, he goes for treatment and then does a little hop skip and dance before returning into the folds of the great leader Musharraf who, alone, can initiate interfaith dialogue."
"Yes indeed. I am sure glad he said interfaith and not sectarian dialogue."
"Don't be facetious. I wonder if Musharraf will seek the Pope's audience next and then go see the Chief Rabbi in Jerusalem and in London."
